About Us

Background

PRO-WARE, LLC was started by John J. Fatte', CPA, in 1986 in Omaha, Nebraska.  Prior to starting PRO-WARE, John became a member of the American Institute of Certified Publice Accountants and the Nebraska Society of Certified Public Accountants in 1974.  John worked in the publice accounting field from 1972 until 1986 as a field auditor for a national CPA firm.  Part of John's responisbilities was to manage the computer department and develop new ways to utilize the computer by his firm and their clients.  This included custom programming projects.

John then leveraged his vast experience in public accounting and computers to create software products with focus on meeting the needs of the professional accountant.

John is the President of PRO-WARE, LLC, and oversees the design and development of software products, including Asset Keeper, their highly regarded fixed asset depreciation product that was released in 1986 and continues to meet the needs of nearly 40,000 users.

Mission

PRO-WARE, LLC's mission from the very beginning has been to provide software that meets the needs of the professional accountant without sacrificing ease-of-use or features.  Based on a continuing assessment of the changing needs of our users, our software is continually updated to meet the ever-changing demands of our users.

In addition to providing software that is feature-rich and robust, we also support our software products with quality, unlimited, technical support via phone, email, or on our discussion board.  We take great pride in the effort that goes into ensuring that each of our users get the maximum benefit from our products by offering context sensitive help, tutorials, and in-depth training videos.
